Air Fryer Pork Belly with a sticky Asian sauce

This is the quickest and easy way to make crispy and juicy pork belly! 

Ingredients

  • Pork belly, around a 1kg piece
  • Sauce - 3 tbsp. hoisin
  • 1 tbsp. dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp. sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • Dash water
  • Asian salad - sliced cabbage
  • shredded carrot
  • sliced cucumber
  • 1-2 large handful fresh herbs (Thai basil / coriander / mint etc)
  • Fresh sliced chilli (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork belly dry, rub some olive oil into the skin and then salt well.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 160C. Pop in your pork and cook for 40 minutes.
  3. Crank up the heat to 210C and cook for 10-20 minutes or until you have a really crispy skin.
  4. Combine sauce ingredients whilst pork is cooking. Then combine your salad ingredients.
  5. Serve your chunk of pork with the salad and sauce

Notes

I haven't included the macros on this one for the pork as it will depend on the size of your piece and your serving size.
